CHAPTER 13: Taking Damon Down

It’s been a few days since I talked to Guy, but he called me up early on in the day with some good news this time. The day began to get worse after hearing what Damon did to my wife. I thought I was going to have a heart attack when Zenayia advised me that Damon was at our house.

“Guy!” I called out the minute I thought I heard him answer. Unfortunately, I was only able to get his voicemail. “Dammit! Hey man, pick up the phone! Damon was at my house last night! Call swat, everybody; we need to get to his house and arrest him before he does something to my wife!” I yelled in his voicemail. I’m sure he could hear the panic in my voice.

I burst into his office knocking after I came in. Guy ended his call and stared at me in confusion.

“What can I help you with Jazz?” he asked.

“Man, I just went to visit my wife and she’s telling me that Damon raped her a couple days ago! You have to get him before I kill his ass!” I advised.

“Calm down,” he suggested standing to his feet. “I will reach out to the investigators handling her rape to get all the evidence they have to hang this bastard once and for all!”

“Tell me you have some good news for me. If not I will be paying him a visit, so you can get ready to call my lawyer for me right now. I may be in jail tonight,” I replied.

“You bet your ass I do! Check this out…the undercover agent makes her move tonight. She is going to pursue an easy invite over to his place allowing him to think he will get some of the nookie. She will work on a confession from him, as well as do some snooping around the place.”

“Do you think this will work?” I asked getting concerned.

“I know it will. Stay away from him at all costs. Let us do our job Jazz,” he said. I nodded and walked out of his office. Only the grace of God can keep me from staying away from Damon right now. They have a female agent who agreed to make a move on Damon. I hope they arrest him soon because he has officially gone mad!
